ABOUT ME

My name is Davor. I'm a software engineer living in Boston, MA, originally from Croatia. I enjoy spending time with my friends, watching movies, TV shows and doing different things on my computer. I live traveling and enjoy meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Not sure yet. I think I'm currently in the phase of trying to find meaning in my life, that's why I plan to travel more and meet new people. I guess my guiding principle is to treat other people the way I 'd like to be treated and do no harm to anyone.

I've hosted and surfed. All the people I've meet through CS were awesome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting people by accident when a frined of mine asked me to host two travelers on their way through Zagreb. It was a great experience after which I registered on the site and started using it.

Interests

I'm a very curious person. I've spent countless hours reading wikipedia articles about almost anything. I enjoy technical and scientific things the most.I love computers and have made that my profession.I'm also interested in psychology and spend a lot of time thinking about human behaviour. I'm reading psychology books to try to understand better the people around me and myself.I enjoy sports. I regularly go to the gym twice a week. I also like playing table tennis and soccer when the weather is nice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, but I mostly listen to pop and rock. I've recently discovered Jango radio and spend entire days listening to it at work. I guess you could say I'm a geek, so I enjoy watching SF movies and series the most. My favorite movie is Sin City. When I was in school I used to make short computer animations with my computer which have won several prizes on various amateur film festivals. I also managed to do some traveling because of that.I haven't done much reading in the past, but recently I started reading  psychology  books which I really find interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited Doha on my own last year when I was sent to do some work by my company. This was my first journey far away to a different culture and I was very impressed by everything.
