I am a Ukrainian lad. Nowadays, I live in Canada as an international student. I like to travel and experience new things. For me is nothing better then to have a conversation with locals when I travel. Sometimes, I like to challenge myself to do something unusual that I have never done.

I enjoy snowboarding when it's winter time and playing volleyball when it's summer. Also, I like to play basketball as much as watch NBA games because I spent around 4 years playing for school team. One of my favorite hobbies is making pictures and sharing them with the world on Instagram:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see the couchsurfing as a great source to experience traveling from different side and perception of locals. I'm here to meet new people, to experience new things, to find travel buddies, and learn something cool. Also, I am more than happy to share my culture and experiences with hosts.

I like different kinds of music from pop to rock, reggae and so on.

My favorite movies are Eurotrip, Edge of Tomorrow, Hangover, Star Trek, Revenant, Great Gatsby, Interstellar, We're the Millers, Horrible Bosses.

I like to read biographies, memoirs, nonfiction, utopian, social science fiction. My favorite are Istanbul: Memories and the City, Way of the peaceful warrior, 1984, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Fahrenheit 451, Robot visions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am more than happy to cook for hosts some of Ukrainian & Russian dishes or join them in the kitchen for some informal lessons because I also like to expand my knowledge of different regional cuisines. I can teach them Ukrainian or Russian languages, maybe even some English if they want:) I can share with them my culture and experiences from adventures that I had. We can just drink beers and chat together, or go party and do extreme things like skydiving, surfing, swimming with sharks.
