Hey, y'all! My name is Ruslan and I'm from Varna, Bulgaria, living here all year-round!
I love meeting new people especially from from foreign countries and enjoying some culture exchange. And while I'm not a disco/nightlife type party animal or one to go for drinks with, I can definitely take you to some amazing places in and around Varna (some of which not too many people know, even locals) and talk with you for hours about... pretty much whatever - that's definitely my thing. Also I'm interested in photography so you better believe I know the best places for beautiful views. So in conclusion, if you're looking for a guide kind of guy that can help you get around in Varna and Bulgaria in general, give you advice on what to see/visit and what to do so that you leave Bulgaria with the best possible impressions and memories - that's me. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share

I will gladly tell you whatever you're curious to know about Bulgaria (even teach you some basic Bulgarian if you want, haha), share stories about my traveling experiences (and give you tips and advice if you need such). I'd love to spend time with you either in Varna, helping you explore my home city the right way or somewhere away from Varna where we can enjoy some random beautiful landscape or some particular natural or historical landmarks, whatever floats your boat (as long as you don't need a drinking buddy for a pub or someone to go clubbing with, then that's not me, I'm not gonna lie :D ) I'm friendly, very willing to socialize and help foreign visitors of my country in any way I can. Unfortunately, I can't offer accommodation but as I said several times already, I'm more than willing to be your guide and/or advisor and unless I'm busy I won't hesitate to arrange a one-day trip for me and you to some cool must-visit places in the area or at least have a walking tour of Varna with you in which I will show you the best the city has to offer. PS: I start to kind of get tired of walking after the 20th kilometer so to me there's pretty much no such thing as an exhausting walk. That doesn't mean that I will force you to walk that much, of course, but if you are okay with looong walks, I'm totally fine with it, that's what I'm saying :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I visit you, you should know this - I'm not a pig, I won't make a mess, after me your place will NOT be less clean than before me. I don't make noise especially in the late hours and in general I do 200% of my best not to disturb other people with noise, light or whatever. Only "luxury" I demand is floor space because usually I carry a lot of luggage with me and I need to know that I can pack and unpack, open and close whenever I need (and I'll do my best to make as little noise as possible). I am very willing to share food especially such that I've brought from Bulgaria (if I offer - trust me, you have to try it, otherwise you're missing out BIG TIME). Other things I share is the energy/vibe of my company. I know, it's not much but...
