I was born and live in Republic of Buryatia, Russia. This is the eastern part of Siberia. I am from the shores of the Great lake Baikal. Baikal is the deepest and one of the oldest lakes, 20% of the world's clean drinking water is concentrated right here.
Also in my republic is the Buddhist center of Russia.
Culture, language and traditions of Buryatia are very close to Mongolian. Here is the Russian-Mongolian border.
