Hello my name is Russell Hartranft, I'm 28 years old and currently taking 9 months off work to travel through central and south east Asia. I'm very respectful, open minded and looking forward to meeting local people from each place I visit. I'm more than happy to help out with chores around the house, make repairs, and chip in for groceries whenever needed. There's nothing I love more than meeting new people from all over the world and getting to know about their lives, culture and trying their favorite foods! I'm a outdoor enthusiast and can be completely happy exploring through nature. I'm very passionate about food,love spicy food and sweets! Trying new dishes wherever I go is one my favorite hobbies!

I'm couch surfing to be able to meet people that live in the areas I'm visiting and to get to know their culture and find out more about local customs. I love to help out whenever I can and plan on doing much volunteering while traveling so whatever I can do to help out the ones I'm staying with I would love to do.

I've had the amazing opportunity to go volcano boarding in Leon, Nicaragua. Speeding down a black sand volcano at nearly 80 kph was quite a special experience for me. I'm a thrill seeker so I've also jumped off of several tall waterfalls in many different places
