Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be able to do a head stand for five minutes.
ABOUT ME
I was born in America. Moved around a bit based on bugs and divorces. When I graduated college, I moved to Korea. I had no particular attraction to Korea, it is just a great Asia starter kit. They pay for your entire set up and hand you a job. After a year in Korea, I moved to Vietnam. I've been here for 2 and a half years and it has been such a rewarding experience, but it is time to move on. I think it is very easy to get stuck in the ESL/expat trap. My current plan is to travel to India, get my yoga teaching certificate, head home for a month or so, then move on to Chile. South America...Spanish...was my original goal, however, life and responsibility forced a rewarding asian detour. But I'm about to embark upon this journey that feels four years in the making. My scalp is tingling with anticipation!
PHILOSOPHY
No pressure, just live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am still a novice at couch surfing, personally. However, my ex-boyfriend was a prolific host. It was amazing. He had a spare bedroom and lived in a great part of HCMC, therefore, he had a couch surfer every week. It was an amazing chance to meet dozens of great people and also look at the city with a fresh pair of eyes per traveler.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed but once. However, I was a host in Korea. Though not many people were trying to surf with me in rural Kyeondo.
Interests
I love documentaries on a variety of topics. Currently, I"m attempting to watch all of the Art section on Documentaries.com. I aspire to be a good barefooted runner, which isn't fun initially. My goal is to be able to run a half marathon in Ohio when I return home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a weakness for Attenborough documentaries. All of them. I'm from Indiana, therefore, have the worst taste in music. If I'm rocking out it is either country...or Pat Benatar. As far as books go, I've been a fantasy nerd most of my life, but recently have been going through the American best sellers list, just to get reacquainted with my country.
