About Me
ABOUT ME
All about me? Not really enough time to add it all into here. A snapshot of me. I'm pretty much free spirited and love the idea of couchsurfing as a way to meet people while I travel. I don't go far now, mainly in the state of Florida, but who knows what life may bring to me.
I am moving, but the end of August 2021 I will be living in a very small town of White Haven, PA. Population 1100. Mountains, rivers, creeks and seasonal changes! Once I get settled in I'll be able to return the favor and Host!
Anyways, what I can bring with me is an open mind, a warm smile and an eager ear to hear about you and your life. In exchange I will offer up my somewhat skewed opinions and observations.
I like to have the occasional beer, but never drink to excess. Smoking was given up back in 1997 and haven't had one since. I prefer not to be too close to anyone smoking.
PHILOSOPHY
Have fun, laugh often and smile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will assist in cooking, when I can, but creating a full dinner is something that I could only do from a couple of recipes and with a bit of patience.
I do know how to clean up after myself and apply that very same knowledge, not that my desk at home is any evidence.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Several great experiences. Looking forward to my next trip.
Interests
Opening up my mind to different things. When I go into a restaurant and have never had something on the menu I am the one who will try it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very eclectic taste for music. My playlists include binaural meditations, Viking Drumming, Mongolian throat music, EDM, Mozart... it all depends on my mood. If you mention a contemporary pop artist I probably won't know anything about them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once worked at a marathon on the beach, got there at 5am. It was a cold, dark morning with a stiff chill in the air and a light rain that was made the cold penetrate to my bones. At one point the rain slowed and stopped. The eastern most clouds parted to reveal the edge of the morning sun. The deep indigo pre-morning sky was being pushed away as the sun climbed slowly up and painted the frame o clouds with vivid orange, rose and yellow. I stood as the cold wind gently reminded me of it's chilling presence. I was in awe of the beauty (And got a pic on my phone) that lasyed an entire five minutes. That image allowed me to work outside in the rain for the next couple of hours.
