ABOUT ME

I was born in Guyana but have lived in America most of my life. I love sports, travel, and love meeting new people. I'm currently trying to learn Dutch. I'll add more here later, but if you must know something more don't be afraid to ask.

PHILOSOPHY

I am very much a believer in the idea that experiences teach more than any book or class can teach you. My goal is not the state of happiness itself, it is the things that bring bout happiness. Accomplishments, success, a good conversation. If i could take a drug that would put me in a constant state of euphoria I wouldn't want it, for me life is about the highs, lows, struggles, adversity, and trying to stay on the roller coaster that is life for as long as I can. My longest term goal is to get to a point where I have the freedom to do all the things I love, which to me is an important distinction.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Go to the list of the top 100 films of all time from IMDB and I have probably seen at least 75 of them. I love movies, specifically great films. Some of my favorite films are "Saving Private Ryan, Interstellar, Good Will Hunting, The Shawshank Redemption, City of God, Memento, and many, many more.

Music: All kinds of music, I specifically listen to indie electronic, but will dabble in all types of electronic. I also listen to rap and hip hop. Extremely recently I have even listened to country. Really could listen to anything.

Books: I don't read much anymore, but my favorite story is "There is a boy in the girl's bathroom" by Louis Sachar. A children's book, yes, but still very interesting read to an adult.
