Used to be Acid Jazz, Fusion, Funk, Rock, a song or two of Indie, russian rock, especially Auktsion. Nowadays mostly electronic - jazz, chillout, techno, minimal.

Hesse, Carlos Castaneda, Crime and Punishment (Dostoyevsky), 2150 A.D. (Thea Alexander - interesting thought experiment), Master and Margarita (Bulgakov), some russian contemporaries from the 90's, etc.
