About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to learn and create as much as humanly possible. I
ABOUT ME
I am a lover of life and learning. I am very passionate about human rights issues and really love meeting people with diverse interests. Traveling is another passion. There is so much that can be learned from others if you keep yourself completely open to new experiences.
I am a musician and I really love to play and collaborate with others. I have more hobbies than I should probably admit, but I am addicted to learning new things and figuring out how they work. Ill do anything from welding to ceramics and its rare when I dont have some project Im involved with.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is constantly changing and evolving..right now I am really interested in making real human connections and learning new things that can benefit the rest of humanity. I am getting ready to attend medical school, and when I finish I would like to travel around the world doing medical humanitarian work. I think it is important to think globally and love and accept people from all walks of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to this community but when I learned about it, I couldnt wait to sign up to be a part of it. I love to travel and think that its amazing that there is support out there for people to really experience a place regardless of socioeconomic status.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was younger I found myself traveling all over the world. I couldnt have done it without the amazing people I met along the way who let me crash in their spare bedroom or on their living room floor. The experiences I had while staying with others were much more meaningful than the times I stayed in hotels or in hostels...The human connection is so important.
Interests
I am studying biology and philosophy so anything to do with either of those subjects really interests me. I am also very interested in human rights issues, political philosophy, food ethics, medical ethics...and any other area that has a tendency to be structurally violent.
I love creating and love working on art projects. My friend and I have recently started an art co-op where all art goods are made from reclaimed goods.
I play violin, guitar and sing and really love playing with others. Im also a big fan of music in general and try to get out to shows as much as I can. I support mostly indie musicians, but there are some bands that have made it big that I also respect and enjoy.
