HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is a great way to help out other people who have a passion for traveling and to start to create a global community of friends and travelers. I host and I surf. The best of both worlds!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed my way through the southwest on tour with a couple of musicians in the summer of 2008 (our profile for that was Super Solar Sounds if you want to check out some references since my individual profile is new). It's so much fun to meet people in the areas where you are passing through.
I've hosted people coming through Asheville and made some really great friends from it.

MUSIC:
i love going to see live music. my favorites right now are cahalen david morrison, ben harper, shawn mullins, citizen cope, amos lee, and missy higgins.

MOVIES:
i love cheesy 80's movies, don't usually care for comedies or crazy shoot em up movies. i usually lean more towards independent and a little more off-beat movies.

BOOKS:
i love to read. i was so excited to finally get out of school so i could actually read my own books! my favorites are kite runner, into the wild, eat pray love, ciao america, a thousand days in venice, a thousand days in tuscany, the lost painting, david sedaris books and augusten burroughs books, among others...
