I'm a 28 year old dude who lives in New York but was born and raised in a small town in Indiana. I work as a freelance commercial editor. I love to cook, grab beers, and listen to good music. In the summers I try to be as active as possible. Camping, hiking, biking, drinking, hanging in the park. You name it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted four groups so far. I keep in regular contact with most of them. I also stayed with one of the groups when I went to Europe.

I love Classic Rock and anything that is older than I am. There are a very few bands now-a-days that I like but I am always up for giving a band a chance.

I read mostly thinking-books, like Buddhist thought, Zen teachings, philosophy, and anything that makes me sit and ponder things. I don't practice any of these things I read about, but take from them what I want. Also love Kerouac, makes me want to throw on my shoes and go tromp around the world.

I swam with a crocodile, inadvertently but did it all the same. I also lived in Costa Rica for 3 months.
