Overview
About Me
--- I'm travelling at the moment and will then work on finishing my debut album while also (hopefully) keeping up with dissertation work this autumn so I might not be able to receive guests for a few months. ---
Cooperation and community and solidarity. That's what we need. So I like couchsurfing - sharing instead of buying and selling.
I am easy-going and can get on with many different kinds of people but I also need a lot of time and space to digest things that happen so I guess I am a bit of a sociable introvert. I take things and life seriously, which means that I love having fun and exploring new things. I like talking about societal transition and about the stories and world-views and beliefs that govern what a society thinks of as possible.
All this goes into my work: I write songs and fiction and am also working on a transdisciplinary dissertation on art and activism in the environmental movement.
--- If you want to stay at mine, I'm more likely to host you if you don't send a mass message but have actually read my profile. ---
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share
I can ...
... share songs and stories and exciting ideas for societal transition.
... teach you the guitar and the piano.
... cook (vegetarian and vegan food mainly)
... do gardening
... give advice on academic writing, in the humanities mainly
... discuss fiction and songwriting methods
I want to learn ...
... how to make important things - like houses and furniture and clothing (I can sew alright but that's about it)
... programming (I only know veeeery basic Bash)
... how to build a stompbox
What I Can Share with Hosts
A sofa bed + extra bed in my living room, so that covers two people. More can be a bit tricky. There's no door between the kitchen and living room which might be good to know.
I share the flat with my partner Simon but Aug 2016 - Jun 2017 he'll be living at his school during term time.
The flat is in Kortedala so it's a little bit outside the actual city. 15 mins to the center on the tram and 30 on a bike (but 40 on the way home because it's on a hill). I've got one spare bike.
