Hi! I'm an engineer girl from Lisbon, Portugal. I love to travel and discover new places (like everyone here in couchsurfing I guess :P ).
When I was younger and a student I didn't get to travel, but since I finished my degree I have been taking every chance I get to know the world out there and different cultures while meeting local people with amazing experiences to share.

I decided to try CS out because my friend had been telling me the amazing experience she had both as a host and as a surfer and got me interested! That made me realize how CS allows you to meet people from all over the world besides the typical touristic spots when you are traveling.

I like showing my city to travelers and just hang out and get to know their stories. I also love to talk anything science related, so feel free to initiate those kind of topics!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend has been traveling (and hosting) using couchsurfing and the memories and incredible people she tells me about made me interested in trying out CS!
I hope to be able to be a good guide and fun to hang out with

Interests

I like to go out during weekends to get to know some new town or beautiful landscapes, but there are times when I like to stay at home watching something interesting or reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly listen to movie soundtracks. I also like acoustic covers.
Last month Hans Zimmer came to Lisbon and I had the opportunity to watch his orchestra live!

Most of my favorite composers are Japanese, like Yuki Kajiura, Yoko Kanno, Toshiro Matsuda, etc.

My favorite books are those from Juliet Marillier, José Rodrigues dos Santos (he includes many real facts in his stories) and autobiographies/memoirs (like tears of the Desert: survival in Darfur, by the amazing doctor Halima).

Favorite TV shows: Game of Thrones, Breaking bad, Narcos, Pillars of the Earth, World without end, Black Mirror, Rome.
I also like Sci fi or post apocalypse movies.
