ABOUT ME

Probably isn't a wise thing to start off negatively, but it's nothing but fair to start at the beginning ;)

As I teenager I was troubled, i had a relationship from 17 to 21 and I wasn't really released from my own mind until she broke up with me. After some searching for my own wants and needs and having had 2 long distance relationships for both a year. I finally decided to finish up my Bachelors and move to the UK to do a Masters in Interactive Media in Bournemouth.

When you go somewhere where you have no backup-people (friends or family) it is truly an experience where you get to know yourself best. Over there I met someone who was and still is very dear to me, but it had to come to an end in able to both go further. I went back to Amsterdam. Had a very good job offer, even a very good position in university i could fill or the option to stay with the girl i was crazy about. But I decided something else, I decided to go. First I wanted to go 6 months, then 12 and now I don't know anymore. All I know is that I'm doing the right thing and I know that whereever it will take me, it is where I need to be.

In the end our destiny is nothing more than what our heart tells us to go, there is no destination. At every moment we are already where we need to be.

books:

listening could be anything nowadays, but i love dancing to energetic music such as trance, techno, breakbeat, drum&bass and/or wickedjazz.

hotel ruanda, the butterfly effect, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the matrix, waking life... too many to mention :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On an achievement level:
I've finished one of europe's top media institutes on top of the class on MA level. Which I was really proud of.

On a personal level:
My decision to travel and work around the world for at least 2 years was a big decision for me. It allowed and is allowing me to see and feel things I would have never discovered staying in a safe environment and just safely booking 2 week holidays every once in a while :)
