Hello!
This is just a little introduction about me! My name is Ruth and I'm a student currently studying accounting (boring I know, its not a sign to my personality). I also work part-time so spare time is short and sweet! I try and make the most of the time that I do have. My main interests include travelling (of course) , learning new things, and taking part in anything which I've never tried before or interests me ( within reason).I'm a pretty quiet person,but I do love to have analytical and thought provoking conversations ( especially with a glass of wine!) .

I learnt from people older than myself that life can just pass you by if you let it , and I know for sure that's not what I want to do . I've come to the realization that material things are secondary to memories! Nobody will look back and be grateful for all the things they've bought! I feel if I can do something, why shouldn't I? Why not try it ? Not everything will be for me but I'll never know until I try it!

A little bit about my hometown : I currently live in Killarney town in Co.Kerry! A great place to visit for a breath of fresh air from the cities ! Lovely parks that never get old to look at and some great road trips around the county ! If youve never visited , its a lovely place to see at least once ! I love it here , but I dont feel it will hold me forever!

Some of my dream places to visit include Iceland ; Bolivia; Moravia; Capadocia; Myanmar; Grand Canyon; Sri Lanka; St.Petersburg and the 12 Apostles in Australia! I would love to meet some people from these places that could suggest the best way to travel and the best things to see !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, what a great way to experience the different cultures, ideas and foods than through couchsurfing! I have only recently started to use this seriously and am looking forward to the experiences it will bring! I want to share stories and ideas with other like minded ( and non-like minded) as often as I can. As I said I'm a busy person but I try my best to host when I can. You gotta give a little to get a little!
