If you want to come and stay in Oxford, I can possibly have you for a night or two, depending on my work levels and deadlines. I have a big front room in one of the central colleges, so you can have my spare duvet and pillows as long as you don't mind sleeping on the floor (there's space for as many as you care to be). I can take you to some of the traditional pubs and show you the colleges if I have enough time!

I'm from london, currently a student at Oxford. I study English and music composition during term time. During the last summer I took to the road on my trusty steed (read: tour bike) and completed my journey by cycling from London round the Baltics, through Finland, and ending in Stockholm. I often used hospitality networks such as Warmshowers as I think it's really fun to meet people and get to know them and learn from them. As you see I'm quite inexperienced on couchsurfing, but I look forward to many more adventures!

Musica, film e libri

My favourite book is Independent by Haldor Laxness. I also love Gerard Manley Hopkins, Shakespeare, Auden, and Joyce. I would very much like to read Growth of the Soil.

In terms of music I study mostly contemporary classical (which is way cooler than it sounds) but I love all kinds of stuff from Bowie to Nick Cave and beyond.

Some of my favourite film makers are Derek Jarman, Ben Rivers, and John Waters.

One weekend me and my best friend hitch hiked from Oxford to Milan in about 32 hours solid, met so many kind and generous people on the way, and enjoyed pizza and wine by the cathedral when we arrived!
