JULY 2018- I am so sorry to have to select NOT Accepting Guests, but I am going out of town for a month. I have absolutely LOVED hosting travelers and have met the most incredible people, and I look forward to meeting more of you in the fall once I'm back! have fun everyone...be safe.

SEPT 2018--I have returned after traveling this summer but now have a couchsurfer who ended up staying and is now a roommate... which is good because she is adorable but bad because the room she is in was my guest room for couchsurfers!! I will be able to occasionally take in one or maybe 2 people if they can literally sleep on the couch or on a foamy on the floor. I will be curtailing my hosting a lot as I had people here almost daily for the last 3 months and many times we had 3 or 4 or 5 people at one time and it got pretty hectic around here! I met the most incredible and interesting travelers and really enjoyed every single one, but I need to take a bit of a break and clean up and recoup!
So, you can try me but the chances are not great that I will have room for the next few months.

I love yoga and fitness classes and walking and occasionally, running! I mostly run for a T-shirt in an interesting place/race! I Love to help people. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had heard about couchsurfing but hadn't tried it. I just stumbled on the site and thought, why not? I have room for people and I travel a lot so will see if I can meet people this way and help other travelers out!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love mostly non-fiction books and movies. I read a lot of personal growth books as I am interested in setting goals and pushing myself to reach them! I love to go to the movies and besides true stories and documentaries on nutrition and health, I like a good mystery or a good comedy. I love all types of music but I'm a country girl... grew up with country music and it's in my soul. But I like jazz and blues and some rock... but not too loud...I'm getting old!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, the best thing I ever did was raise 3 amazing kids! And the best thing in my life besides my kids is my 2 adorable, funny, sweet grand babies!! But ...I also ran recently ran The Great Wall Half-Marathon with my kids to celebrate turning 60!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I work with blind and visually impaired people. I have worked with all ages from blind babies to 90 year olds. I love helping people and want to continue to share my skill set wherever I can.
I am also an entrepreneur and love sharing safe, healthy, vegan products with people as well as educating people on the importance of being more aware of what they put on and in their bodies!
I MUST learn Spanish!! I need to go somewhere and live where they speak Spanish everyday so I can learn!
I love to help people!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a nice, clean place. There is usually some activity at my place as I often have people dropping in. I love to show off my town and my Territory and love to host big dinner parties with lots of interesting and eclectic people!!
