my name is Ruth. I grew up in Hamburg and I am an art director. I love art, photography, music (I'm a bad singer, but singing is fun. Instead I can dance! I can teach you a lot of classical dances), especially indie pop and techno for parties, fashion (when I'm not travelling - because dressing up is an art to me), yoga, tattoos and deep conversations about politics and sustainability. I love pushing my inner boundaries and doing things I didn't think I was capable of.

I like the Canadian film director Xavier Dolan who makes great films and a lot of French films.
I love to read and you'll often find me with a book or a Kindle, I read a lot of different genres and I'm always open to recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the Trans-Siberian Railway without speaking Russian. There were some guys playing cards and they asked me to join them. We somehow managed to get me to understand the rules without me speaking a word. It was crazy!

I can teach you some German words or cook you a nice dinner. I'd love to show you the hot spots in my city, Hamburg. I can share my lifestyle with you, take you to a nice party or explain my point of view.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can draw you a nice picture, make a sketch of your face or take some photos of whatever you'd like. I can also cook you a typical German meal.
