Hello,
my name ist Ruth. I grew up in Hamburg and I am a junior interaction designer. I love arts, photography, music (I am a bad singer, but singing is fun.. Instead of this I can dance! I can teach you a lot of classic dances for example), especially indie pop and for parties techno, fashion (when I‘m not travelling - because it‘s kind of an art to me to dress up), yoga, tattoos and deep talk about politics and sustainability. I love to exceed my inner borders and do things, that I thought I wasn’t able to. I want to become a tattoo artist one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Til today I did not host any couch surfers, but I have a nice couch to sleep on for up to two persons.
You can write me even to go out for a beer and to explore my city together.

I want to meet locals and visit cities not just as a tourist. I want to live with you and get to know your culture, your food (I should tell I‘m a vegetarian) and your spirit.

I want to see the world on my own, not just in documentaries.

I love Indie and Synthie Pop and Techno, my favourite artists are Plushgun and Casper.
I like the canadian film director Xavier Dolan, who makes awesomes movies and a lot of french films.
Currently I am reading classical literature like George Orwell and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I love „The little Prince“.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the transsib without speaking russian. There were some guys playing cards and asked me to join. We somehow managed it, that I got the rules, without speaking any words. That was crazy!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some german words or cook a nice dinner for you. I‘d love to show you the hotspots in my city Hamburg. I can share my lifestyle with you, visit a nice party or explain my point of view to you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share everything, that I have and that I can. I can draw you a nice picture, a sketch of your face or take some photographies from whatever you‘d like. I not the best chief, but I can cook some typical german food for you.
I‘m a talkative person and a nice partner to discuss nearly everything. I‘m very rational and always having some good life hints for you (or maybe not - I guess I‘m a little bit precocious sometimes).
