I'm a former American librarian, current assistant language teacher at a high school. My husband and I moved to Japan on the JET Program in August 2016.

We live in a wonderful little town in northern Miyazaki prefecture. There are no trains, but we live about a 25 minute walk from the bus center.

Fair warning, we don't speak any Japanese beyond "thank you" and "pardon me"!

We're hoping to travel quite a bit while we're living in Japan and we'd love to meet those living in other parts of the country.

We love our little town and would love the chance to help other people get to know our area in beautiful Northern Miyazaki!

I'm a recovering Teen Librarian who spent the last 6 years reading books while thinking, "Who will like this book? Who can I recommend it to?" Instead of reading for my own selfish pleasure. I'm trying to relearn how to read. :)
