ABOUT ME
I love to experience and learn new things and rather take the more interesting than the easy road. Being a journalist in China is a good fit for this, I guess - a constant challenge, but always rewarding. That said, I do enjoy the good things in life - food, nature, family & friends.
Interests
When not travelling, there's hardly a weekend where I don't go hiking in the surrounding mountains and on the Great Wall - a great way to escape the city, hang out with friends, get fresh air and exercise all in one. When I don't meet friends, there are always index cards with Chinese vocabulary that want to be revised and newspaper, magazine articles and blog posts to be read - mainly about what is going on in Chinese politics and society.
