CURRENT MISSION
To navigate the Masurian lakes and eat as many Pierogis as possible.
ABOUT ME
Hi. It's nice to meet you. My name is Adam and I might be your host or guest for the next few days.
If you visit me, I hope I can show you a good time in Busan. I specialize in organizing custom day trips which include hiking, eating, and drinking. This is the recommended order though it's entirely possible to drink first, hike, and eat on top of the mountain. When the weather's warm I also like to go sailing or relax on the beach.
If I'm staying with you I hope you can show me a little of the local lifestyle. I find tea shops, hawker food, and ceramics fascinating so please let me know if they are available. I like going to restaurants where grandparents eat because the food's good and the prices are low. I love getting to know a new neighborhood, especially in Asia where there are always more things to discover than you first notice.
PHILOSOPHY
"Today, I am more convinced than ever that what each of us really wants, deep down, is more LIFE. Happiness, success, peace of mind, or whatever your own conception of supreme good may be, is experienced in its essence as-more life. When we experience expansive emotions of happiness, self-confidence, and success, we enjoy more life. And to the degree that we inhibit our abilities, frustrate our God-given talents, and allow ourselves to suffer anxiety, fear, self-condemnation and self-hate, we literally choke off the life force available to us and turn our back upon the gift which our Creator has made. To the degree that we deny the gift of life, we embrace death."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted many more people than I've stayed with so far. Guests often have interesting reasons for coming to Busan. I make sure they get to try some good local food, especially stuff like live octopus, sea penis, and dog soup.
I want to do more surfing in the future because there are many things a local can show you that aren't in a guide book.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All positive so far. Couchsurfing seems to attract friendly, outgoing people.
Interests
Sailing in Haeundae, Drinking tea and yerba mate, being outdoors when it's nice out.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading "The Long Way" by Bernard Moitessier.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was robbed by monkeys in Thailand.
I got lost on a motorbike trip in Lombok and found a place to sleep in the village. In the morning the fighting cocks woke us up.
I've eaten a lot of creatures that are still moving here in Korea. It's the only way to know it's fresh!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to trim a sail, apply an arm armbar, and brew a nice pot of tea.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you have been getting lazy and watching too much TV on nights and weekends then hosting me is the perfect motivation to get out of the house and do some fun stuff.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Netherlands, Taiwan, Thailand, Viet Nam
