Overview
About Me
I am an easy-going and open-minded person, curious about people and their stories. When I travel, I love to learn about the history of a place, and how locals experience their lives there.
Another thing I very much enjoy is all kinds of outdoor activities, enjoying nature, camping, hiking, swimming. Then, I love discussions about culture and politics, philosophizing about our crazy beautiful world, cooking and eating together, with good music and wine.
I love to sing and play the guitar, board-games, reading, dancing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started my experience on Couchsurfing in the summer of 2014 - after an exchange semester in New Orleans I took the chance and travelled in California and the North-East of the US. Couchsurfing has made that travel extremely interesting, diverse and fun.
After that great experience, I hosted while I was at home in my parent's house in Bolzano, Italy.
What I love about Couchsurfing is that you meet a great variety of people, that all have in common a certain open-mindedness and a trust in people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Just read "Tricks" by Alice Munro and liked it a lot. "The Book Thief", "Brave New World", "Island beneath the sea" by Isabel Allende, "100 years of solitude" - these are just some of the many books I love
movies:
"The Story of Stuff" and all kinds of documentaries
of popular movies I like the ones that leave you thinking and questioning, but I don't have a considerable movie culture (I'd be happy to get your tips :))
Music:
Zaz, Manu Chao, First Aid Kit, Fabrizio de André, Simon and Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, Balkan/Klezmer music and other kinds of folk-fusion (or however you call that)
also hip-hop for dancing, and then all kinds of trashy stuff so fun to sing along to :D
