ABOUT ME
I am Ruth from a small little town in Germany close to the North Sea. I have traveled since I was little, since my dad is from Ghana we have family all over the world. I took a liking in it and so here I am, working as a Teaching Assistant in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Travelling for me is amonst other things about meeting new people from all over the world with different backgrounds and different perspectives on life, learning new languages and trying new food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can cook German food and some really good Ghanaian peanut butter stew. I can teach you some German and tell you about life in my country or we can exchange stories about life. I'm also a great tour guide that loves showing people around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with really nice people in Philadelphia, NYC, Boston and San Jose (Costa Rica)

I hosted a French guy that interviews WWII veterans in the US and 2 Azerbadjani bands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

stayed with a native Shaman in a small village in Nicaragua which really made me appreciate the small little things in life and realize that we don't need much to be happy!
