I like, singing, cooking, gardening and studying. I would like to go out more often and have fun. I walk near my house and ride a bike. I like walking in nature. I used to volunteer for two local charities. I look forward to meeting new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am offering a double futon for travelers and a single folding bed. Warm shower, food and conversation.

I am looking forward to traveling round more of the UK and the world in future.

We visited California, USA in October/ November 2014 but could not find a free couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had four students from Spain this year and a German girl in 2014 came to stay for two nights. I liked cooking with them and trying new food. Sam came from the USA and stayed for 3 nights in 2014. We went on a long bike ride, it was fun. Two students came several years ago from France and Italy. We also have a different private room on AirBnB.

Interests

Playing family games, going for walks, watching good movies. Cycling. Cooking and eating locally sourced food.

I am studying Environmental Studies with the Open University to help get a more interesting and worthwhile job.

Music, Movies, and Books

We have netflix and I love a good drama. I like most music, if it's not too loud! Civil wars are a good band. Mainly reading environmental, gardening and cookery books. I like listening to BBC Radio 4 and political programmes/ documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to California, France, Spain and Greece. I will go and travel again when my kids leave home. I love the coast walks around Wales. Beautiful.
