ABOUT ME

always wishing i could be in an exotic land. however, i like working too, and i like where i live. it's the middle of nowhere, but it's fun and exotic in its own way. people should come visit more often. besides making radio by day, in the winters i coach speed skating and snowboard (not in manitoba, it's v. flat here) and in the summers i frequent beaches. reading, crosswords, running, yoga, enjoying red wine, coffee, good conversations and of course travel are all things that i'm always doing or trying to do at any available moment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

come visit winnipeg! we have fabulous couches. i'll be taking a bike trip to europe in the spring so perhaps someone can spare a sofa for my traveling partner and me. my friend and i joined this once upon a time and someone was going to stay on our sofa, but they skipped over our town in the end... really think that anyone else traveling canada shouldn't. this is a community kind of place that you can't help but love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

as someone who can sleep anywhere, i've enjoyed many a couch. i don't want to play favourites, but after a rock climbing excursion in canmore i made myself comfortable at a friend's friend's place at the day's end and woke up to find someone had put a sleeping bag on me and fresh coffee. i'd like to pass that experience on.
