COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first "official" CS experience was in Los Angeles in June, 2009 and it was fantastic. My next CS experience was in Australia also in June, 2009. It was everything I had hoped for and more. The CS hosts have been so hospitable and friendly. They not only hosted, but showed me around and spent time with me showing me the local spots which you can't find in any guidebook. It's what makes the travel fun and interesting. It's honestly renewed my faith in people....good people who expect nothing in return.

Interests

Travel, reading, music, art, photography, painting, making people laugh, exploring new cultures and people, animals, children, charitable work, advocating for children, making a difference to those who need help. I do a fair share of pro bono work which I've made a personal obligation. I wish other people in my profession did the same. I enjoy really good, engaging conversation...even the occasional debate....over a cup of really good turkish coffee or a nice Malbec. Engaging, thought provoking conversation is lacking in my current environment which is probably why I travel so much. :)

All kinds of music- literally too many to list. Steinbeck is my favorite author. I love indie and foreign films as well as some classics like Caddyshack, Moonstruck & the English Patient....Eternal Sunshine... Monsoon wedding...
