Overview
About Me
Hello fellow travellers. My name is Ruud and I am born and raised in the Netherlands. Because of my previous travel experiences and international focus I decided to do my masters in Social and Cultural Anthropology. As an anthropologist I love exploring the world and to participate in different environments and cultures. I am a proponent of having a free and independent lifestyle. It would be great to meet lots of people through Couchsurfing during this visit. I would describe my self as open minded and easy going. During my visits I am definitely in for doing adventures activities, visiting cultural places and drinking some beers together. At the moment I am travelling and am therefore unable to host any travellers at my place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite movies: Interstellar, Limitless, In time, Transcendence, Into the Wild and Lord of the Rings.
Favourite Book: The Alchemist. For the rest I read a lot of books about personal development. I like authors such as: Napoleon Hill, Anthony Robbins, Tim Ferris and Robert Kiyosaki.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most amazing thing I have done is the Gibbon Experience in Loas. Doing the Gibbon Experience you go zip-lining through the jungle and you sleep in a treehouse. You should really check out some video's on Youtube!
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe most people join Couchsurfing to exchange cultural experiences. Since I am studying Anthropology we can have some interesting conversations. But travelling is about more than having conversations, it is about making new friends and doing activities that you would never do at home. I believe having a lot of fun is what it is all about.
