I like to learn sth. about new cultures, traditions and perspectives. I like to have meaningful conversations about practically anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet local people and see the area I´m travelling in through their eyes, rather than being influenced by commercialised tourism.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Even though I like a lot of music, I listen primarily to Jazz. I'm always keen to hear and learn about new music, in particular if it is very different from my listening habits.

MOVIES: I am a big fan of the old Quentin Tarantino movies, but also enjoy more recent directors such as Edgar Wright. Hollywood movies usually don´t thrill me.

BOOKS: To be honest I don´t read as much as I would like to - it´s a work in progress.However, when I do read it´s likely a book about philosophy, psychology, music or one of the classic dystopian novels like "1984" or "Brave New World". Recently read "An Abundance of Katherines" by John Green, which I quite liked.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a trip to France with a BigBand from my hometown and played on stage with musicians from Senegal.
