Overview
About Me
"When I enter the forest, I feel that I have arrived at home." This is one of the things that I know about myself.
I have been living in the city for all my life (in Romania and in the UK) and had all sorts of jobs (working in an adventure park for children, teaching Maths, building a start-up - a modern library, working in logistics, customer service, eLearning etc). I took a lot of freedom for myself and I explored whatever I was curious about. I studied Mathematics, Acting, Hungarian and now I'm interested in Psychology.
In the past 2 years, I was a student of the Alternative University in Bucharest - which is a great example of how democratic education works.
I fell like I've been changing so much in the past years, but some things about me, have remained constant in time: I feel the best when I am outside and I use my body (anything from going hiking, riding a bike, climbing a tree or just walking), my biggest source of happiness are people, nature and animals, I am fascinated by everything that explores and expresses the human being: from psychology to art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met some amazing people that I hosted. To this very day I remember their stories and tell them to people when I feel that they need inspiration :)

living
This is one of my favorite quotes: “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” (Einstein)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Maths/Physics and some English. I can teach you to cook some Romanian dishes, once I taught a friend how to ride a bike :) I can share my experience of entrepreneurship and building a start-up, and also what I've learnt about democratic education.
I want to learn Spanish, Hungarian and French. I want to learn to dance, to draw and to sing. I also want to learn more about sustainable and healthy living, gardening and taking care of animals.
