Overview
About Me
We are Paul from France and Rebecca from the United States. We live in a small village 20 minutes from Parthenay in central western France with our 3 year old daughter. Paul studied agriculture and works as a gardener at a nearby ornamental garden. Rebecca gives English lessons and is slowly starting a new adventure as a sophrologist (relaxation and meditation techniques). Rebecca and Paul met on a ashram in Spain and are both accustomed to an international environment. We love making positive connections with people and welcome respectful travelers to our home.
We will be selective when accepting guests out of consideration for our daughter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE (by Rebecca)
I've enjoyed using CS a number of times to both host and be hosted. I had a number of great experiences and came across some pretty wonderful people who use this program for its ultimate intention - to connect people in positive ways.
Interests
Both Paul and Rebecca have the dream of working toward higher autonomy, less consumption, and a project to be able to put certain sustainability principles in practice.
We are busy cleaning, pruning, and planting the property where we live. (Lots of fruit trees, a small stream, garden space, etc!)
When you write us with a request to stay, please mention the word SALAD so we know you've read this far.

Teach, Learn, Share
We cook simple meals and know a few tricks. We garden and can share what we know though there's so much to learn ourselves. Paul´s pretty handy and can fix most things. He knits too. Meditation techniques. Peaceable times.
