ABOUT ME

I'm a care-free American who yearns for a community of people with similar consciousness. I study English, music, and African American and African Diaspora studies. I try to perceive and discover the human soul through the music I listen and contribute to, and am searching for others on the astralturf to join in my quest for purpose.

I love reading and writing and singing and being dirty and skinny dipping and poisoning myself to feel good and skipping class and going to class and staying up all night and sleeping and listening to records and screaming and raging and watching the wire and watching ellen and pretending and freaking people out and lighting candles and petting my dog and cat and being outdoors as much as possible and being scared and getting tattoos and eating egg and cheese sandwiches with my roommate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one time on the greyhound there was this crazy racial tension between passengers and this guy was trying to sell me crack, but then this Russian dude got on and was taking up two seats and would not move so the racial tension evaporated and became 'america vs. everyone' tension which was much more unifying in a weirdly still-segregational way, but then this big black woman (bbw model) got up and put him in his place, uttering perhaps the best fighting words i've ever had the pleasure of hearing: "you can kiss my big black ass and lick the pink part of my pussy mutha fucka, but you gettin out that seat." ah ambrosia.
