About Me

So life has brought me to Oregon, Portland. Here is where I met my husband Joseph (we met the first day at work!)
I was born in Honduras, C.A., went to college in MN, studied for a semester in Italy, went back to Honduras to teach Biology, now I am working in Portland. Joseph was born in LA and moved to Portland when he was 5 years old.
We both want to travel the world, meet people and have amazing adventures (like everybody else). The problem we had this last year is that we forgot about living and enjoying every experience, and we were merely existing every day of the past couple months. We want to meet people and learn about life through travel, or ones traveling.
If we aren't able to travel at the time, we at least would love to travel through somebody else's experiences.
Travel has changed us, and we want people to be changed through travel, so if we can help with that process then we'll be doing our part in this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the business of work and life we had forgotten about couchsurfing and all the good things it brings. We had forgotten of all the amazing people we could meet and all the adventures we could share.

Interests

We love to hike, go to the movies, travel, and a warm cup of cocoa right before going to bed (:

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music: pretty much everything. Except heavy metal and country... although country depends on the mood.

Favorite books: At least one of them is the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I want to find my treasure... “People are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I've done would have to be studying in Italy. I studied there for a semester, and in that time I met amazing people, learned really cool things and visited awesome places.

Teach, Learn, Share

The scary part is taking that first step. Once you take it just don't stop.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can go out dancing, we'll have a drink or two and we will talk about the ironies of life (or whatever comes to mind).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Iceland, Italy, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Honduras, United States
