About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I heard once: You are as many different persons as countries you have lived in

ABOUT ME

Still rolling around Europe, marveled by its diversity and richness. Devoted to food and good times, always eager to learn.

Nothing has changed my perspective of life more than traveling, and mostly living and making part of the local customs.

Nothing has made me feel closer to a culture than embracing what they enjoy.

PHILOSOPHY

At the end everything will be ruled out by Enthropy, and that's why it's so difficult. Anyway, make yourself a way, have fun with the others and don't mess them up, 'cause you would not want that for yourself, would you?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Little time during the week, on weekends I can spare of some more but as I travel often, I pack my journeys tightly.

Anyway, we would be happy to meet visitors and show what we already know of this city, because it does have quite some nice spots to wander around and enjoy.

A couple of drinks will always ease a conversation and help making friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, only as a host

Music, Movies, and Books

Cinema: Bergman, Fellini, del Toro, Cuaron, Burton, Kubrick, Hitchcock, and the Coen bros.

Music: Mahler, Brahms, Schubert and Shostakovich, blues, jazz...

Books: Borges, Cortazar and Paz. I also enjoy a lot Kafka, Dostoievsky, Nabokov, NIetzsche, Proust and Kundera... lots of non-fiction too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dream about only music and become part of it, to become the next morning a music-worshipper. I like to show the others how music is the deepest language.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have the remarkable skill of buying more books that the ones I can read. I used to be good in hand- and eye-reading, but I lost those skills when I got into science.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Belize, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States
