About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hugging every cat in the whole world.
ABOUT ME
I am a Canadian expat living in Iceland. We have a long history and a sordid on-and-off relationship but we're making it work for now. I'm going to school and writing lots of this and that to scrape by. I love to cook, especially either very healthy things or very disgusting things, but always super delicious. I am a ridiculous cat person and talk to them in a gross voice almost always. Occupationally, I do what I love: writing, performing and talking out of my ass.
PHILOSOPHY
When you give up your dream, you die.

Music, Movies, and Books
My brain is about 20% comprised of Simpsons, Seinfeld, That 70s Show and Fresh Prince quotes. I am on the verge of starting a blog dedicated to reviewing old music videos because I think it's one of the greatest and most under-appreciated art forms of our lifetime. I am finally chomping into my first Dave Eggers book and once I'm done with that, I'll start writing my own. My role models are John Waters, Marina Abramovic, Kids in the Hall and Jennifer Saunders. I really, really, really love Andrew WK.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18-years old, I followed a band on tour by taking the Greyhound bus from Montreal to Los Angeles by myself. It took over a week. I saw most of the United States. For three days, I had to listen to a farmer from Missouri tell every single person on the bus that he had 52 cows to birth when he got back from this funeral he was going to and literally nobody gave a single fuck. When we got to Arizona, this kid sitting across from me could not believe I had never seen a palm tree before. On my first night in L.A. I got backstage at the Troubadour, met Rodney Bingenheimer and went to a rave in a parking lot under a bridge with a girl named Math.
