Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsufing because it allows me to be an explorer, not just a sightseer. To me, traveling is about so much more than simply seeing the sights of a new place, taking a few pictures, and having a pint in a far away bar. Its about having intimate conversations with people from very different backgrounds, getting to learn from those with different cultural upbringings and making new friends.
