I'm 25 years old. I like trying new things. Food is the best! If you can show me food that I've never had, you've earned like a million stars in my book. Humor is also something I really appreciate! I think most anything is funny in the appropriate context. Music is my bag; I'm always trying to see bands play or find new music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to visit places I've never been to and experience cultures and communities. I feel like just visiting an area and staying in a private room just doesn't lend itself well achieving that goal. Meeting the locals and understanding what things are really like where I visit via a human connection strikes me as the best way to get that experience. Plus, make new friends!

Music, Science, Traveling, Perspective.

Music is one of the best things in the world to me. I love it, I make it, and I think it's a form of brilliant, therapeutic human connection.

Science is the best. I'm no expert in any field of study, but I love learning about it. Fight me.

I'm only now getting into traveling but I'm very excited about it and I think through it I might find new perspectives I'd not considered before. Perhaps learn a lot of new things in general!

Music, Movies, and Books

I try to appreciate all genres of music and what they have to offer but currently my favorite styles of music are Post-rock and Post-hardcore. (This Will Destroy You and A Lot Like Birds are some of my favorite bands to listen to currently)

The Fifth Element is my favorite movie ever! Having said that I like things like Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino films a lot.

As far as books go, I don't have a favorite but I love a good high fantasy or epic fantasy book almost anytime. Other times I like reading more introspective or informative materials; things on subjects concerning astronomy and biology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dunno if I'd call it amazing, but I've released a full length album that I'm pretty proud of. Not everyone has made 50+ mins of original music you know!
