About Me

I'm a 38 year old divorced man who is aspiring to become a filmmaker and actor. I have two little boys who mean the world to me and want to give them everything they deserve, including a successful father who can provide for them. I like to relax and joke around. Not a big party animal type (got it all out of my system a long time ago). However, I'm all about sitting down and chatting with a glass of wine or a beer.

I love meeting new people, especially when we have shared interests such as sushi and film. Most people would tell you that I have a great sense of humor and that I am personable and open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an aspiring actor/filmmaker/photographer which means I tend to do a lot of traveling and am in constant need of a place to crash. With any luck, I hope to eventually make and save up enough money to where I don't need a place to crash anymore, but for now, this is the route that was suggested. Also, I love meeting new people! Everyone has a story to share and I find individual lives fascinating.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? Pretty much anything. Not into gangster rap or country though.

Books? Stephen King. Cormac McCarthy. Chuck Palahniuk. Just discovering Vonnegut. P.K. Dick. Any of the Star Wars books.

Film? Blade Runner is my all time favorite film and my inspiration for wanting to be a filmmaker. I like horror movies and especially ones that are so bad they're good (which is NOT the same as a movie that is intentionally bad). Coen Bros. films. Wes Anderson. Star Wars and Indiana Jones. You get the picture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to help make a feature horror film that is available on Amazon and other streaming services.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to talk film and the filmmaking process I'm your guy. I'm willing to learn anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life. It's there to be shared with others so why not do it.
