I'm a brewer and beer enthusiast from New Zealand.

I am an open minded and outgoing kinda guy, but I also really appreciate the laid back times, reading books and just chilling out with good people.

Being a brewer I find myself gravitating towards this ubiquitous beverage when travelling. Not only because nothing gets people talking and having a good time like a couple of tasty brews; but also because of the rich and varied histories and cultural practices surrounding this drink. Beer is everywhere and I am here to explore it in every manifestation I can!

I studied Philosophy and Religious Studies at university so I love learning about and experiencing cultures and different beliefs. I have travelled to India twice, and the presence of religion(s) and the vastness of culture(s) there really resonates with me; being dropped into a region so drastically different to my own always gets me appreciating the beauty of this world.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Hyperion Cantos has to be my favourite series of novels. I love science fiction and philosophy/religion based non fiction. Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, and The XX are my jam, music wise. I love a wide variety of movies; The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kubo and the Two Strings, Arrival, and Pans Labyrinth would be naming only a few of my faves.
