About Me
Hi! My name is Ryan and I recently graduated from university, but wanted to see the world, learn of new cultures and make new friends before resigning my life to an adult job... Not yet though!
I have been travelling Asia (China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and now Taiwan!) and am going to travel to Peru in June and July to learn Spanish and to volunteer to help restore damaged areas from recent floods.
I have just tried couchsurfing for the first time (after somehow being signed up forever) after a friend suggested it and am absolutely loving it so far! For the rest of my time in Taiwan I am really hoping to meet more locals and experience more of the wonderfully warm culture (and food of course), so please let me know if you want to meet me, host me or even share dumplings!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to learn about new countries and cultures is from those who best represent them! I love meeting new people and want to experience a place through the eyes of a local.
So far it has been a brilliant experience and I love the exchange of cultures, languages and especially travel plans!
