I set out on my first trip July 2015 which took me all around Asia, Europe, and in between. After 9 months, I settled down in Melbourne for a year to work in breweries and get to better know the beer-making craft. Now my year in Australia is up, so I'm off to South America because, why not?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to learn about the world outside America. Staying with locals and/or foreigners used to the local scene is exactly the crowd I'm looking for. I'm here not only to see, but to experience and learn. I want to gain this experience early and live by it the rest of my life.

I haven't used CS very much at all, but I really want to give it a solid go this time and meet some amazing people I wouldn't otherwise have met!

Interests

Travel, obviously, right now. I love new foods, new places, new people. I play Ultimate Frisbee, building stuff, and finding new people with similar interests. I love playing guitar even though I'm not a good performer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Roald Dahl is my favorite childhood author. I like action, adventure, comedy, and thriller like There Will Be Blood, Anchorman, Daredevil, Futurama, etc. Not picky. Kurt Vonnegut is another of my favorite authors, though I must admit I am not a well-read man.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Australia for a year and never had an unfavorable encounter with wild animals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm all about chillin and going with the flow. I like to hang out and get to know people on a personal level. I have traveled many places and am happy to share what I have learned from my experience. I'm an excellent drinking buddy and will always grab a beer at a local watering hole. Aside from that, I've got a lot of practical know-how about the house/apartment.
