Currently on 3 months holiday, and just bought a 4WD to head out and explore the East Coast of Queensland. Looking forward to meeting new people; locals and tourists while visiting all the beaches and parks in the region.

Looking at doing more traveling around Australia and camping locally. Top of my list is Fraser Island, then a lot of the lesser known areas along the central Queensland coast.

I am interested in finding the quiet & hidden places not frequented by general tourists. Places like rocky waterfalls hidden in bushland, and the beaches you can only get to via 4WD.

Would be great to meet locals in the areas I'm visiting for tips and advice. I also have multiple spare rooms in my own house for others who are looking to do the same. Also open to taking others along with me on my own trips.

Spent 5 weeks on Safari in East Africa, mainlt focusing on the wild life and natural wonders. The main highlight was visiting a Mountain Gorilla family in the Volcanoes Mountains, Rwanda.
