Folk, blues, jazz, Ethio-jazz; I love Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell and probably my favourite band is Fleet Foxes

I like lots of films but my favourite directors are David Lynch, Charlie Kaufman, Agnes Varda, Richard Linklater, Kubrick. Absolutely love Blade Runner

Some of my favourite writers are Don DeLillo, Sylvia Plath, Raymond Carver, Alice Munro, Alan Watts, J Krishnamurti. I love the poetry of Paul Muldoon, Octavio Paz, William Carlos Williams. Currently reading Hunger by Knut Hamsen
