I am a 25-year-old student from Las Vegas, NV. After graduating high school, I joined the US Marine Corps and completed two combat deployments in Afghanistan. In 2013, I left the Marines and went to Penn State. I have recently returned to Las Vegas to pursue training as an EMT and finish my Bachelor's degree through Penn State's distance learning campus. I love meeting new people, and ultimately, I want to spend my time helping others as best as I can.

1) I cannot and will not promise to host you for more than 3 nights. If I do not have pressing obligations and we get along incredibly well, I may be willing to allow you to stay longer, but please do not plan to stay for longer than 3 nights.
2) I accept last minute requests, but I am not always able to respond right away, especially if I am hosting other Surfers. Even though I accept last minute requests, your chances of being accepted are greatly diminished.
3) Please let me know if you are uncomfortable with sharing the living room with other Surfers. I get a lot of requests and sometimes, I double-book Surfers. However, I might still be able to accommodate you if you are not comfortable with that.
4) I am a full-time student and I work, so I can't promise I'll be available to show you around – however, I will try!

IF YOU ARE NOT VERIFIED AND HAVE NO REFERENCES, my policy is to require pictures, names, and passport numbers (or ID numbers) of everyone who will stay. This information is only precautionary, and will be deleted upon your departure. The reason for this is that many people come to Vegas, get incredibly drunk, and break things or possibly hurt people. I have not run into that issue yet, but I have seen it happen to others. If this will not be a problem for you, you are more than welcome to stay! If it will be a problem, I'm afraid I will not be able to host you.

I have a couch and love meeting new people. If allowing someone to sleep on my couch will be helpful to travelers, I'm more than willing to do it!

Music: Every genre has good and bad music. Depends on my mood. However, my go-to genre is folk & indie.

Movies: I'm a big fan of comedy! Anything by Judd Apatow, or anything with Will Ferrell are usually safe bets.

Books: Non-fiction nerd, but I also like The Great Gatsby, Slaughterhouse Five, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, 1984, The Martian, Fahrenheit 451, and others like them!
