Just like everyone else using this app I love traveling, and enjoy meeting new and different people all over the world! I have lived in Colorado, Minnesota, California, North Dakota, and currently Manly, Australia. I just graduated from college and began my travels. I have attended Colorado State University, West Hills College - Coalinga, and Minot State... and yes in that order. Life takes you crazy places sometimes. I have driven through almost the entire Western United States, and have stayed in a few states on the East Coast. My international travels have included Mexico, Canada, Sweden, and Australia. This truly is me... I just don't want to spend the money to get verified. We can talk on the phone, FaceTime, Skype, or whatever else so you can verify it's me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world quite frankly. I don't want to see the world from the view of expensive hotels, condos, etc... but I want to see the world from the eyes of those who live in different cultures and areas. What better way to do so than staying with someone I've never met, who lives where I want to adventure. My overlying reason is I want to experience what the world has to offer!
P.S. I sleep on the floor, so anywhere can be bed for me.

Listing my interests is harder than I thought, but here is an abbreviated list. My mind is very open to new things, and I enjoy doing, seeing, and being a part of so many things. Getting super drunk and doing drugs is not one of my interests though... maybe that will help you who are looking at my profile. Financial books have been a large percentage of what I've read recently (trying to set myself up for the future). Philosophy, Science, Finances, Religious, Adventure, Outdoors, Personal Growth, Satire, Travel, Health, Math, Music, Documentaries, Poetry, Anthology, Biographies, Cookbooks.... it doesn't matter. Reading is so valuable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Picking up and moving to Australia after graduating in the States is one amazing thing I've done. The Manly beach area is incredible and the surrounding area has amazing sites and people. A family, who I did not know previous to coming to Australia has opened their home to me, and have welcomed me just as family would. The whole experience has been amazing thus far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to share my experiences with the world and especially to anyone who is interested. Teaching is a deep passion of mine (I started as a Math Education major at Colorado State Univ.), and although I enjoy teaching math, I enjoy teaching life more. Teachers need to teach life to students!.. but we can discuss more about that when we meet if you'd like. I want to help those I come in contact with, and teaching is a huge medium for that. I enjoy learning as much if not more than teaching. Life comes and goes quickly, why not learn all is has to offer? I am so interested in other cultures, and the way other people live. I will ask you several questions, and do some completely touristy adventures (I love being a tourist even in my own town/state).
