About Me

I'm on a mission to see as much of the world and meet as many people as I can over the next few years. I recently travelled from from Mexico to Brazil over a year and will soon be in India for about 8 months then Australia.. I am a happy, open minded and fun loving and love being a part of the couch surfing community. Getting to know hosts and helping where I can to be a good and easy guest to accommodate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, get to know the life's and interests of people in the places I visit as well as spend time in Hostels and do some help exchanges all in the hope to get a good varied view of the world as possible. The people I meet who are fellow Couchsurfers are always the most kind hearted, generous and friendly people and I like to think I can reciprocate the vibes.

Interests

Keeping fit and used to enjoy boxing but now apart from the odd run or bit of sport where it's available I'm happy to just chat, listen and share music, stories and knowledge. I'm enjoy looking for new experiences, be it foods or music, slang words or dance moves, opinions or outlooks, I like new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love old soul, motown and blues music, indie rock, alternative, hip-hop and reggae. I also like clubbing to house, tech and trance. But good music is good music and I like to listen to it all.

I like to watch comedy or action and series online but sitting down to watch anything is a great way to spend some time chilling.

I don't read much but autobiographies, beat generation and crazy real life adventures are what i like to read when I find time. I keep looking for a book I can get into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Preparing for this long adventure, selling my belongings, saving hard, spend countless hours planning to get through the boredom, then quitting jobs and leaving home behind in the hope of expanding our understanding and appreciation of the world is a pretty amazing thing I've done.

I had hoped and dreamed of this trip for so long it is now an amazing feeling to be rewarded with such great experiences and meeting so many good people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I trained as an English teacher before I left England and would be happy to help where I can to improve a persons language skill.

I'm trying to build on and maintain my Spanish and it helps me to be around Spanish speakers. I'm happy to practise or get help when its offered.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm, stories and mad washing up skills! I can share music, conversation and hopefully a great experience with a host.

I like to think I'm a very good guest, I have a lot of respect for a persons home and will be sure to keep my things tidy and contribute to the home tasks where necessary to assure a happy and comfortable visit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, Spain
