Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a current student studying abroad in Glasgow Scotland who's trying to see more of Europe! Id like to use Couchsurfing as a way to meet locals, learn more about the cities I'm staying in and to travel with a unique perspective that you just don't get when staying at a hostel. I believe connecting with locals is one of the best things to do while traveling. This is because the best things I've seen and done in a new city have been based on the advice of locals I have met while traveling.

At the end of this school semester I will be travelling around Europe for about a month. I have stayed in AirBnB’s before and loved being with a local of the cities we were in. I am very open to spending time with hosts, whether this be a friendly conversation at the home or time in the city. On the financial side of couch surfing I hope to save money during my travels as I would like to push my budget as far as possible and see as much as I can.
