About Me

I am 24, a young professional, who seeks out adventure anytime between arriving at work at 8am, and returning home at 4:30. I love meeting new people and asking deep questions about what makes their life so interesting! I'm looking to increase my travel radius over the next year from a few hours to a couple hundred miles: NYC, Washington DC, and even abroad!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe a lot of world is disconnected from one another. We've adopted this idea that "What is mine is mine," and I think the younger generations are challenging that worldview. To me couch surfing is not just a way to share my space or belongings, but it is a way to connect with people and see the world through their eyes. I treasure those conversations that lead to friendship!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I've subscribed to Spotify Premium so anything and everything! I'm a fan of most music, but you'll often hear me saying to Siri, "Shuffle my John Mayer playlist!"

If I'm going to sit and watch a show or movie, either want to be laughing my head off, or learning something new. Huge BBC Sherlock and The Profit fan.

I often read the Bible, but I don't speak of it unless it's comfortable with all involved in the conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most recent accomplishment started at 7 a.m. at Jamesville State Park on June 19th, 2016. Along with several other hundred athletes, I completed my first Half Ironman: 1.2 mi swim, 57 mi bike ride, and 13.1 mi run in 7 hours and 30 minutes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I admit, I do have a lot of hobbies, and I'm willing to teach anyone, anything, as they pass through: running, cycling, swimming, cooking, music, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, and I can share a few meals. I'm well connected in the Central New York area and know all of the best hiking destinations. I can point you in the right direction for a fun night in downtown Syracuse, but I'm usually in bed early. Simply ask, and I'll try my best to accommodate!

Countries I’ve Visited
