Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I graduated with my first post-secondary degree in Social Work in May 2015; currently living in my hometown and getting as much experience as I can in my field of study. I consider myself incredibly open-minded, humbly egalitarian, and I'm a liberal-minded ideologist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the concept of couchsurfing, and I think it's an amazing way to expand our overall human connectedness. I love meeting new people around the world, and love the idea of this global network of like-minded people, all helping each other out.
Interests
I love traveling, animals and nature, bouldering, music in all forms, singing, meeting new people, and learning about new cultures and ways of life. I started playing chess again, and I'm always looking for new opponents.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: anything from Armenian jazz to Swedish death metal.
Movies: anything interesting, just no gore or horror flicks.
Books: I'm admittedly not as well-read as I'd like to be, but enjoy poetry and new ideas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed to the top of Niesen in Switzerland - went completely off the path for about an hour and a half, and the whole hike took about six hours.
(I know it says one thing, but I'm a rebel.) I watched the first rays of sunlight pierce the darkness at the eastern-most landmass on the earth on January 1st, 2016: the first person to see the sun of the new year.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have spoken English all my life and grew up learning French in school. I have been climbing for nearly three years, and have a basic understanding of bouldering/rock climbing technique. I can teach you how to play chess, though I'm no expert. I know some ASL. I have experience providing counseling services, and I love talking about a person and their unique thoughts, feelings, and processes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am more than willing to help with any housework, (cooking, cleaning, etc) for my stay. I can also contribute to buying groceries and/or bringing food/recipes to share from my home!
