Being an individual who grew up in Malaysia, I have always wanted to discover the other half of the world, therefore I decided to study abroad in Canada. My first destination in Canada was Halifax and I rooted there for 5 years. I cant say that was the best decision i have ever made, but I am proud to say I have a different life experience compare to all my peers who chose to study locally. Of course, at first it was hard for me to make friends but due to the culture shock, but I have met so many amazing international students who are always helping each other and sharing the story of their lives, culture, and different amazing things.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Despite not being able to host Couchsurfing, I use the app to meet new friends instead. For example, in London we have a group of people who hikes together occassionally, and share the stories of them travelling around the worth. Why am I here? Because i want to hear more stories from different people from different background!
